Bastrop Fire Department
FOR ALL EMERGENCIES DIAL 911!

The City of Bastrop Fire Department was established in 1894. The department is comprised of 12 full-time firefighters and rest of our firefighters are volunteers committed to excellence, professionalism, and service to our customers and the communities where we live.

We provide fire/rescue protection to all areas of the city limits from two City owned and supported fire stations. We are proud members of the Bastrop County Fire Fighters Association, State Fireman’s and Fire Marshals Association of Texas, and the Texas Commission of Fire Protection.

Our volunteer firefighters are part-time heroes giving selflessly to their community. In return, we receive full time appreciation from our neighbors, friends, and families, and joy in the knowledge that we are making our community a safer and better place to live.

The Mission of the City of Bastrop is to continuously strive to provide innovative and proactive services that enhance our authentic way of life to achieve our vision.
